Charities and Sponsorship
Proud to be sponsoring Harvey's Scarecrow trail with our very own Pro scarecrow!
From 7th October - 4th November Harvey's Scarecrow Trail will be on display in the Chew Valley, near Bristol Airport. Each scarecrow created by local heroes is made in memory of a very unique little boy - Harvey Hext and aims to tell the story of A Sibling's Wish.
9 year old Harvey was an identical twin with his brother Spencer. Tragically Harvey was diagnosed with neuroblastoma an aggressive childhood cancer . Throughout his battle, Harvey and his family tirelessly fundraised for treatment and raised awareness of children worldwide facing neuroblastoma. Sadly, Harvey died in November but left behind an incredible legacy from which A Sibling's Wish has grown.
Come to the Chew Valley and buy a scarecrow trail map for £2.50 from Winford Village Shop, Chew Magna Co-op,Salt and Malt at Chew Lake Prince of Waterloo in Winford and Winford Ford garage, .The trail is great entertainment for all the family. Guess the name of each scarecrow as you spot them and if you identify them all you might just win a £150 ATG Theatre voucher. All money raised from the trail will go to Harvey's charity A Sibling's Wish.
